Where visual inspection offers only a rough indication, optical instruments improve the picture we see with ability to magnify.

D-MATCH 2 – WORK LIGHT FOR DETAILING AND COLOUR MATCH

Our novel D-MATCH 2 is a part of a completely new concept of specialized work light solutions designed for the detailing and paint industry.

The powerful illumination of the D-MATCH 2 makes it ideal for inspection of larger surfaces and to illuminate a specific working area in the workshop. With the new light dimmer function it is possible to adjust the light into five different levels, 500-5000 lumen.

The lamp is supplied with a solvent resistant glass lens. The body is made of diecast aluminium, which makes it extremely sturdy and shockproof to endure even heavy strokes and shocks. At the same time it is dust and waterproof, IP67.

With the new integrated carrying handle, it is convenient to hand carry the lamp. The flexible stand can be used as a hanger and to position the lamp in the desired lighting angle. The stand is designed for direct mounting on the SCANGRIP TRIPOD and WHEEL STAND.

SCANGRIP TRIPOD

Stationary and flexible positioning of work lights
The SCANGRIP TRIPOD is designed to meet any working situation where flexible illumination is key. Extendable from 1.35 m to 3 m, the tripod offers complete flexibility to position the work light into the required height and angle.

The tripod is made of durable powder coated steel and a welded steel mounting cap (10 mm thread) ensures the durability of the universal tripod stand. When not in use the tripod is compact with a weight of 6 kg.

Streamlined in both design and construction, the SCANGRIP TRIPOD can be applied for both indoor and outdoor use.

To increase safety when in use, work light cables can be stored in the safety clips placed on each of the tripods legs.

The Inspector Flashlight is a robust and handy flashlight with extremely powerful Power LED. The adjustable light beam makes this flashlight very suitable for most kinds of inspections. This powerful light produces an impressive 1000 Lumens and has a beam distance of max. 300 meters. It has four functions: high beam (white), low beam (white), red light and UV light
The aluminum housing is dust- and waterproof (IP45), and shockproof from a height of one meter.

Coating Defect Identification Label

Imperfections or problems found during inspections of coating work usually require attention of second or third parties after they have been found.
A second opinion of the paint supplier, witnessing of counter parties or just the attention of a repair crew. In each case it is important the above mentioned spots are easily found back, also when the original inspector is not around anymore.
Large structures such a ships, bridges and steel construction but also poorly lit area’s such as tanks can cause problems in that respect. How, for example, would you describe the exact location of a number of small pinholes, hardly visible (or even non-visible) with the naked eye in a 5000 square meter tank bottom?
For record keeping often pictures of the problems found are being taken. Including the TQC CDI label in the photograph retrieves immediately the dimensions of the defects and the writable area on the label offers the possibility to add extra information to the photograph.
In a serial production environment the CDI labels can be used to identify parts for rework or scrap.
